ComplyAssistant and Sensato Executives Speak at Two NJ Universities about Healthcare Information Security

October 31, 2017 – Colts Neck, NJ – Gerry Blass, President & CEO of ComplyAssistant, and Mike Chirico, Vice President for Business Development at Sensato, recently spoke at the Rutgers School of Business in Newark NJ and Seton Hall University in South Orange NJ. The subject matter included  Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances and Health Information Technology, specifically in relation to Healthcare Information Security Risk Management.

Both presentations were received well and the students interacted with excellent questions. Both ComplyAssistant and Sensato believe that it is important to bring practical knowledge and observations from years of experience to young students who have grown up using technology and have a lot to gain from hearing about the current status of healthcare information security and cyber security in general.

Mike and Gerry co-chair the NJ HIMSS Security, Privacy and Compliance Committee  (SPC) and are also members of the NY HIMSS SPC. Sensato and ComplyAssistant formed an alliance in 2017 with a goal to provide comprehensive collaborative solutions for information security to the healthcare industry across the country.
